2004-06-30 [Kaimee]: AH! but no! see, thats what I think we should do, what skydancer is doing is just... when somethings submitted its sumbitted with all housename links written as *house_name* instead of [house_name] and all wiki links being written as wiki_name@wiki instead of [wiki_name@wiki]. Ie, for housenames replace the bracktes with *stars, and for wiki links just leave off the brackets entirely. okedoke?

2004-07-27 [dracos8]: it's a good thing, believe me. frankly your colored pencil pics are awsome. and it's more impressive just cus you did do it with colored pencil. it's easy to add light effects and smooth color changes on the computer. not so easy with pencils, thats for sure

2004-07-27 [dracos8]: i usually draw it in pencil but color it in photoshop. my summers dream pic is the only one i've done in colored pencil. and this pic here is the only one i've done in water color.

2004-09-01 [pixish]: Entry number 4 has elements which are copied from the book 'How To Draw More Manga' by Katy Coope (we bought it just today) If anyone has a copy, page 19 is where you can find the head design, the body pose is taken from page 33, the little critter looks awfully similar to the one on page 51, and it's tail is close to page 54...however, the outfit is all her own :-)

2004-09-05 [pixish]: It has still been copied. I agree that copying is good for practising your artwork and it helps you learn the basics. However entry number 4 has copied from the book and claimed it as her own art. She has used different pictures in the book to create the one image but in my mind I still call it copying. If anyone is interested in checking up on why we think the entry is copied, please check out 'How To Draw More Manga' by Katy Coope
2004-09-05 [Kaimee]: also, there may not be anything intrinsically wrong with copying, but there is definetely something wrong entering copied work in a contest that has specific rules again copied, traced or stolen art.
